All eligible members of USATF and eligible members of other WMA Members may compete in these Championships. However, only U.S. citizens may score or win championship medals. A 2024 USATF membership is required for USA affiliated athletes to enter online (please join online if you are not a member). Non-USA affiliated athletes must present evidence that they are members in good standing of their appropriate WMA Masters Member. Letters attesting to their status should be addressed to Jerry Bookin-Weiner, Chair, USATF Masters Track & Field Committee at mtfchair@usatf.org. A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. Athletes from more than one age group can comprise a relay; the age of the youngest member of the team determines which age group it competes in.

Mary was a prolific and talented thrower throughout her career, earning 74 Gold, 30 Silver and 8 bronze at USATF Nationals including 18 US records. With 13 #1 World rankings between 2005-2020, she won at WMA 3 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze across all throwing events. She greeted everyone at meets with a smile and she was less impressed by her own athletic accomplishments but was thrilled for you when speaking of yours. Gracious, big-hearted, she was a friend for life of all she touched. Unfortunately, we lost Mary to Covid in the early 2000’s, but she lives on in all our memories.
