USATF Annual Meeting – December 2-5, 2021

The 2021 USATF Annual Meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with members of the MTF Executive Committee (and other executive committees) meeting in person in Orlando, Florida. Others will attend virtually on Bizzabo, the same platform that was used for everyone at the 2020 Annual Meeting. 34 Active Masters Athletes may be delegates on the MTF Committee. To be selected as an Active Masters Athlete delegate you must register for the Annual Meeting and be selected by your peers.

Click here for a full description of the Active Masters Athlete Selection Process.

2021 is a “Law & Legislation” year, and that committee is already hard at work on numerous proposals for changes to the USATF By Laws and other procedures. By Law amendments that were defeated at last year’s Annual Meeting but enacted on a temporary basis by the Board of Directors are up for reconsideration. There is also a proposal that would create a weighted voting system for selection of USATF’s candidate for the World Athletics Assembly – a proposal that would give MTF only 5% of the votes.

In addition to these proposals, the MTF Committee will be voting on bids to host our 2023 Indoor Championships (three or four bids are expected) and on several proposed amendments to the MTF Operating Procedures.
