ELIGIBILITY

All eligible members of USATF and eligible members of other WMA Members may compete in these Championships. However, only U.S. citizens may score or win championship medals. A 2025 USATF membership is required for USA affiliated athletes to enter online (please join online if you are not a member). Non-USA affiliated athletes must present evidence that they are members in good standing of their appropriate WMA Masters Member. Letters attesting to their status should be addressed to Robert Thomas, Chair, USATF Masters Track & Field Committee at mtfchair@usatf.org.  A competitor must compete in his/her age division only.

  • SHORT HURDLE EVENTS: These will only be run if there are 2 or more competitors
  • All athletes are subject to drug testing

Meet Info

FACILITY

Griffin Stadium at Moorpark College in Moorpark, CA, eight-lane track with excellent throwing and jumping facilities. Spikes must be pyramid ¼-inch or shorter.

TIMING

Fully automatic timing by Speed Timing.

ATHLETE CHECK IN

RUNNING EVENTS: 45-minutes prior to the scheduled start of each running event, competitors must check in at the CLERK’S TENT—after which those who have not checked in will be scratched. 15 minutes prior to each running event, runners must return to the Clerk to pick up their hip numbers and heat assignments. FIELD EVENTS: 5 minutes prior to the event, competitors must check in with the Head Judge.

IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN

Throwing implements will be certified in the shed on the west side of the track.

PROTESTS

Protests must be made in writing to the referee. Proper rule reference must be cited, and all protests must be accompanied by a $100.00 cash deposit, which will be refunded if protest is upheld; forfeited if the protest is denied.
