ELIGIBILITY

All eligible members of USATF and eligible members of other WMA Members may compete in these Championships. However, only U.S. citizens may score or win championship medals. A 2023 USATF membership is required for USA affiliated athletes to enter online (please join online if you are not a member). Non-USA affiliated athletes must present evidence that they are members in good standing of their appropriate WMA Masters Member. Letters attesting to their status should be addressed to Jerry Bookin-Weiner, Chair, USATF Masters Track & Field Committee at mtfchair@usatf.org. A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. Athletes from more than one age group can comprise a relay; the age of the youngest member of the team determines which age group it competes in.

  • U.S. citizens must be members of USA Track & Field to enter and compete.
  • Age Groups 18-29 yrs (Open), 30-34 yrs (submasters), 35+ yrs (masters)

Implements

All throwing implements will be provided. Athletes are welcomed to bring their own regulation compliant implements. All implements will be checked and certified prior to competition.

Protests

There will be a $100 fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and not later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. The protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.

Track Facility

Hilmer Lodge Stadium houses a world class track and field facility built to ADA and World Athletics championship standards. The main competition facility includes a Beynon nine (48”) lane full pour urethane track with dual field event facilities for all field events. Practice and warm-up facilities include a Beynon 350-meter practice track with additional field event facilities, 75,000 square foot FieldTurf field and 80,000 square foot natural grass warm-up field. The permanent stadium seating capacity is 11,500 and is expandable for hosting larger events. The stadium features a 2,700 square foot press box, 85 foot wide by 37-foot-tall Daktronics LED scoreboard, Musco LED lighting, ticketing, concessions, as well as team check-in and restroom facilities.
