ELIGIBILITY

The meet is sanctioned by USA Track and Field (USATF). All competing athletes who are US citizens or are eligible to represent the US in WMA competitions MUST be USATF members in good standing. Non US citizens may compete if they are members in good standing of their nation’s WMA affiliate and must provide a supporting letter from that association to MTF chair Jerry Bookin-Weiner (mtfchair@usatf.org).

USATF membership can be obtained online at www.usatf.org.

  • Athletes 19 yrs. and older are eligible to compete.
  • Athletes will compete in 5 year age divisions (19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, etc.)
  • All athletes are subject to drug testing

Awards & Contact

USATF Gulf Association Medals will be awarded to the top three (3) individuals and the top three (3) relay teams in each event of each age division.

Meet Info

Implements

Throws implements must be checked in at least one hour prior to the event.
Check in opens at 7:00am.

Relays

Run in 10 yr age groups.
Team must wear distinctive tops.
Declare 1 hr before event.
Relays can be run as mixed teams.

Event Check-In

There will be separate check-in areas for Running and Field events. Athletes must check in at these designated areas 45 minutes prior to the event's scheduled starting time. All athletes will be required to remain in the designated warm-up areas after checking in.

Protests

There will be a $100 fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and not later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. The protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.

Rules, Conduct & Facility

USATF Competition Rules will be followed during the Association Championship. Clear Creek ISD COVID-19 Protocols along with USATF Gulf Association COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced. Spectators and participants are viewing and participating at their own risk.

The U of H track will open at 8:00 AM for all participants to enter
