Sacramento, which had been scheduled to host the 2021 USATF Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships, informed USATF that they were withdrawing because of the challenges of getting a commitment for a facility in California now. This was received on March 9. 
USATF Iowa, the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Iowa State University have stepped up and made a bid to host the championships which the MTF Executive Committee accepted at a meeting March 25. They have proposed that the meet be held July 22-25 and, pending final acceptance by USATF and the signing of an agreement, an official announcement is expected by early next week.
The meet event page on usatf.org is not expected to go live for another week to ten days at which time information about the daily schedule of events, hotels, entries, COVID protocols, and much more will all be available.
So stay tuned, but it looks like we are returning to Iowa for nationals in July.
