MTF Seeking Applications for Sub-Committee Chairs and Members

MTF is seeking applications for Sub-Committee Chairs and Members as well as several liaison and USATF Committee representative positions.  The process is described below:

Application Process

With the beginning of the new four-year terms in Masters Track & Field on January 1, 2021, all sub-committee chair positions, liaisons, and MTF representative positions on USATF committees are automatically vacant. The procedure for filling these positions is outlined below:

1. An announcement soliciting applications sent out to the MTF community through the USATF Masters Newsletter, as well as via social media
2. Applications (MTF Application) are due by Tuesday, January 5, 2021, though earlier will be very much appreciated; we want to finish the process by the end of January at the latest
3. Applicants interviewed by the MTF Officers who will make a set of recommendations to the MTF Executive Committee for approval

The following positions are open:

Sub-Committee Chair Positions; many (*) require attendance at the USATF Annual Meeting:

1. Communications Sub-Committee Chair (serves on the Executive Committee)*
2. Championships Games Sub-Committee Chair (serves on the Executive Committee)*
3. Anti-Doping and Substance Abuse Sub-Committee Chair
4. Awards Sub-Committee Chair
5. Combined Events Sub-Committee Chair
6. Exhibition Events Sub-Committee Chair
7. Hall of Fame Sub-Committee Chair
8. Inclusion Sub-Committee Chair
9. Race Walking Sub-Committee Chair*
10. Rankings Sub-Committee Chair
11. Records Sub-Committee Chair*
12. Throwing Events Sub-Committee Chair
    
    Liaison Positions
13. Corporate Competition Liaison
14. Senior Games Liaison
    
    Representatives on USATF Committees (all require attendance at the Annual Meeting)
