MTF Announces Subcommittee Chairs, Liaisons, and
USATF Committee Representatives for 2021-2024
The USATF Masters Track & Field (MTF) Executive Committee, in a meeting on Wednesday, February 3, 2020, approved the following slate of subcommittee chairs for the next four years. This was the culmination of a month-long process during which the MTF Officers interviewed 46 people who applied for positions. Of the 13 subcommittee chairs, seven are new to their positions. Of the eleven MTF representatives on USATF committees, eight are new to their positions.

Also, MTF has had four Task Forces, three of which will continue – Club Ethics, Hall of Fame Make Up Class, Historical, and Transgender Issues. Three of them will continue, with the Hall of Fame Make Up Class Task Force’s mandate being absorbed by the MTF Hall of Fame Subcommittee. In addition, a new Task Force will be created to energize and oversee implementation of the MTF Strategic Plan adopted a year ago.

Also serving on the Executive Committee are the four MTF Officers, the seven Regional Coordinators, and Active Athlete Representative Colleen Barney, who was selected by the Active Athletes attending the Annual Meeting in December.

When Bill Murray was confirmed as Championships Games Subcommittee Chair he resigned as Southeast Region Coordinator; his Deputy Coordinator Tina Klein was immediately appointed as Coordinator.
Now that all of the subcommittee chairs are in place they will begin work on assembling their committees.
