NEW YORK CITY — Five individual event American records and five 4x400m relay records highlighted the third and final day of the USATF Masters Indoor Championships at the Armory. The Potomac Valley TC took home the women’s team trophy with 236 points, ahead of Philadelphia Masters (204) and So Cal TC (186), and in the men’s team standings, So Cal TC edged out Potomac Valley TC 348.5-321, with Greater Philadelphia TC third (307). Potomac Valley TC won the combined team trophy, tallying a combined 557 points.

Breaking her own American women’s 45-49 shot put record, Angela Herzner (Tempe, Arizona/AZ Desert Throws) had a best of 13.61m/44-8 on her second attempt to improve her AR by almost a foot.

Capping off the three-day Championships were a slew of 4x400m relay records. In the women’s non-club 50-54 a team of Emmannuelle McGowan, Jennifer Harvey, Michelle Rohl and Dianne DeOliveira took more than four seconds off the world non-club record with a 4:22.10.
