Masters’ events will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023
The Masters Exhibition Event at the 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon will be the 200m for men and women in the 55-59 and 60-64 age groups. The top eight male and top eight female applicants from the combined age groups, will be selected to participate based on times achieved from 2021-2023 that are verifiable through Mastersrankings.com or web available meet results.
In addition to competing in the marquee event on the 2023 outdoor schedule along with Olympians and World champions, those selected to participate will be able to interact with them and watch the meet, which will be nationally televised.
To apply go here and submit your entry. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm Pacific Time on June 5, 2023. Notifications will be made shortly thereafter. There is a $50 entry fee, which will be refunded to those not selected. This is the same entry fee being charged to the open/elite athletes competing in the meet. Unfortunately, there is no support available for travel and lodging for this event.
