2024 World Masters Athletics Outdoor Championships, Gothenburg, Sweden August 12-25, 2024
Entries are open through June 4, 2024 for the 2024 World Masters Athletics (WMA) Outdoor Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden in August. For information for Team USATF Masters athletes, visit the meet page on usatfmasters.org, which also includes a link to the meet website.

Anti-Doping Education Webinar for Masters Athletes May 15, 2024, 8 pm ET/7 pm CT/6 pm MT/5 pm PT
Athletes competing at the 2024 USATF Masters Outdoor Championships and regional championships are subject to anti-doping control testing. To help athletes understand the process, the US Anti-Doping Agency will conduct an Education Webinar on the evening of May 15, 2024.

USA National Masters Combined Events Championships

The USA National Masters Combined Events Championships, consisting of a heptathlon for women and decathlon for both women and men, will take place at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville June 22-23, 2024. USATF Masters Track & Field Call for Award and Hall of Fame Nominations
The USATF Masters Track & Field Committee (MTF) annually honors athletes, administrators and volunteers. The David Pain Award is presented to a person who has given exceptional service to USATF MTF over a period of years. It can only be presented to an individual once. The Carol Finsrud Award is given to a thrower who, for many years, exhibits consistent excellence in performance, consistently encourages and assists fellow competitors, and sets a standard both in throwing and in sportsmanship that others seek to emulate. The Ken Weinbel Award is given to a person who has made exemplary contributions to the Masters throwing community over a period of years. Also, athletes and administrators who have ten or more years of excellence in athletic accomplishments and / or exceptional service to MTF are selected for induction into the USATF MTF Hall of Fame.

2024 USA National Masters Throws Championships Benedictine University Lisle, Illinois September 7-8, 2024
The USA National Masters Throws Championships, consisting of a throws pentathlon, ultraweight pentathlon, and superweight throw, will take place at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, September 7-8, 2024. Full meet information, including the online entry portal, can be found on the meet website.
Report on 2024 USATF Masters Indoor Championships
The 2024 USATF Masters Indoor Championships attracted 1174 athletes to the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center at Gately Park in Chicago, IL. Athletes produced the largest haul of records in many years on the 200m hydraulically banked mondo track. Nineteen new WMA records were set along with 31 American masters age group records. The meet featured the most hotly contested team competition in many years, with Potomac Valley Track Club emerging as team champions, with Greater Philadelphia Track Club in second place and So Cal Track Club in third place. Only 23.5 points separated the top three teams, with the championship decided in the meet’s last event – the 4x400m relays. So Cal won the men’s competition, with Potomac Valley in second place and Greater Philadelphia in third; TNT International Racing Club won the women’s title, with Greater Philadelphia in second and Potomac Valley in third.
