Entry Information

Masters-aged women, 50 to 69 and Masters-aged men 60 to 79, may apply to compete in the 2022 USATF Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon as a part of the 2022 USATF Masters Exhibition Events. All entrants must be USATF Members for the 2022 calendar year in order to compete in this prestigious meet. If you do not have a 2022 USATF Membership, please complete a membership application in USATF Connect (link on the top of usatf.org. Athletes must also be U.S. citizens or eligible to represent the U.S. in WMA competitions.

Application Deadline and Entry Fee

The application deadline is June 1st, 2022 at 11:59PM PT
There is no entry fee.

Application Process

Completion of an Online Entry DOES NOT mean an athlete is entered in the meet. The USATF Masters Exhibition Events Sub-Committee will review entries and, based on qualifying marks in rank order, select the athletes who are invited to participate.
Athletes do not need to declare themselves through the elite athlete process.

Selection Criteria

To apply for entry into this Masters Exhibition Event, you must submit a verifiable time from a 2021 or 2022 USATF sanctioned event or a collegiate meet utilizing FAT timing.

The top eight (8) women and top eight (8) men applying will be selected based on verifiable times submitted. Up to two (2) alternates will also be selected.

Applications may be made here and are due no later than Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at 11:59 pm PT. There is also a Status of Entries page where those applying can verify that their applications have been received.

Athletes selected to participate (and the two alternates) will be notified by Monday, June 6, 2022. They are responsible for their own travel to Eugene and lodging and meals while there.
