WHAT: 'Fountain of Youth Masters' Invitational Mile to Feature America's Best 35-plus at Canby HS, Oregon

WHERE: Canby High School, 721 SW 4th Ave., Canby, Oregon (26 miles South of Portland)
The "Fountain of Youth Masters" Invitational Mile will be the premier event at this year's Oregon Relays. The race will feature many of America's top milers aged 35 and up who will showcase their seemingly ageless talents before an enthusiastic crowd of youth athletes and their families. Race Director Dave Clingan of Portland reports that the event will raise money for a fund that will enable young Oregonians in need to attend the 2005 National Junior Olympics Championships to be held in Indianapolis this summer.

Jim Sorenson: Number 1 ranked 2004 USATF Masters 35-39 runner at 800m (1:51.93) and 1500m (3:43.85)
Danny Gonzalez: Number 2 ranked 2004 USATF Masters 40-44 runner at 5000m (14:58.86)
Kevin Paulk: USATF Masters 40-44 2004 800m and 1500m Indoor Champion; Member of World Record 40-49 4x800m relay team
Chris Yorges: 2001 USATF Masters 35-39 Athlete of the Year
Chuck Coats: 2005 USATF Masters 45-49 Indoor 3000m Champion
Joe Dudman: 2003 USATF Masters 35-39 10K Champion
